Robert and Kennedy met at Sonoma State University a short seven years ago during the rainy El Niño season. Shortly after acknowledging the undeniable spark between the two Kennedy found out she was accepted into a study abroad program in Sweden. In the brief months before her departure it became evident that they were not ready to call it quits and decided to pursue a long distance relationship. Robert went to visit Kennedy (twice!) which was only the beginning of their international adventures. Seven years later Robert asked Kennedy to marry him on the scenic shores of Lake Ashi in the `lush mountains of Hakone, Japan.
